Day 14 7/25/2015
Today is the last day and I'm ready to go home. Monets grandpa payed for our breakfast at the Coeur d'Alene resort and casino. So glad to go home and sleep in and be in a house that don't have bugs or mud everywhere. Peace I'm gone till next year!!!!!

Day 13 7_24_2015
Today I met Jennifer(Derose) her official title is cultural resource manager. She spoke about water quality and living standards. Jennifer said there was a village every 1-18 miles. we also went and made a beaver dam. we had a success in making a beaver dam.

Day 12 7/23/2015
Today we went to west fork lake creek stream and wetland enhancement project. a woman named stephanie hallock her official title is habitat biotechnion and engineer she also worked for the tribe for over 10 years. stephanie told us about the lake creek watershed and there design approch. there was the historians leanne(campbell) and caryl (dene swan) they showed us old artifacts.

Day 11 7/22/2015
Today we met Gina(Baughn), Laura(Laumatia), and Bobbie(White). Laura gave us a powerpoint presentation on the history of the Coeur d'Alene. Laura mentioned the 5 million acre territory. She mentioned the allotment and the dawes act Audra(Vincent) and Michelle(Clark) are both language specialist. Audra teaches Coeur d'Alene her official title is language program manager. Michelle's official title is language instructor. Laura and Michelle have orel documentation from tribal elders.

Day 10 7/21/2015
This morning we met a wonderful lady named Twa-Le Swan she’s the air quality manager for the Spokane Tribe. Twa-Le talked about the air quality, ambient air quality monitoring, indoor air quality, and the protection of traditional & culturally significant plants. Twa-Le gave us a powerpoint presentation on air quality in the Spokane area. The pollution companies are giving of have to be as clean as possible according to the government. We met two more people there names were Casey Flanagan and Paul Juran. Casey is a fishery's biotechnician at the Spokane tribe. Paul is a biotechnician also. Casey and Paul both showed and took us electrofishing. Later in the day we went to a property owned by the Spokane tribe there they grow food for elk, deer, and other animals in the area. The two people we met there was Savanna Walker and Dawa Namknva they were very generous and kind. The day ended in going swimming and showing our drawings to George Hill.

Day 9 7/20/2015
Today we went to the Wellpinit school for a safety presentation. I met Randy Barnes, Robert Nelson, Gerald Cates, Michelle Veron, Lue Miller, and Bobby. They all talked about being safe while in the mining area. I also learned that there are seven different radiations. The first radiation is cosmic radiation this type of radiation comes from outer space. The second radiation is terrestrial radiation this comes from rocks,soil, ore, etc. The third radiation is internal radiation this one comes from inside the body. The fourth radiation is indoor radon this comes from the soil under your house its a product of uranium.

Day 8 7/19/2015
Today we learned stuff about drawing from a guy named George hill. We also went to the river kayaking. Me and Alexis flipped our kayak two times. To top of the day we went to a fire outlook and watched the sunset. We didn't do much today it was more like a chill day then anything. dinner was great Mr. Black made spaghetti he put chicken and Spinach sausage in the sauce.

Day 7 7/18/2015
Today
was a fun and awesome day besides the blogging for like hours. We got here to wellpinit early. Today was
also the day I set up my tent all by myself im so happy about that. We went
swimming it was amusing. I slipped getting out of the water my legs are bruised
so are my arms. Al slipped in to he says hes ok. We had tacos for dinner they
were good miss.black makes good tacos.
One thing I learned was that you cannot laugh and swim at the same time.

Today
we went to the Columbia gorge discovery center and we also went to see the
petroglyphs. I met a wonderful woman named Valerie Glowinski she is the only
government worker at the museum. When we were at the museum I seen an outfit
from 1850s to 1860s. I partially didn’t like the museum because it mainly had
stuff about pioneers not native Americans. But there was some good information
on different types of birds. The ride to Spokane was long we blogged all night
and I did laundry for a long time. When I was doing my laundry some people were
being rude while I was getting my stuff out of the washer. I and Alexis was
blogging and talking.We called my dad and asked him a few questions about my
culture. I taught alexis ho to say simple phrases like I love you and how are
you?
